The meridian system of the human body is a delicate, yet intricate web of interconnecting energy lines. It is a concept in traditional Chinese medicine about a path through which the life-energy known as "qi" flows and understanding of this meridian system will unlock the secrets of the flow of Qi energy in the body.

The qi (pronounced "chi") in a given meridian is strongest during a specific two-hour interval of the twenty-four hour day. The way qi travels in this cycle through the meridians is referred to as the “Meridian Clock.” When this flow is balanced and harmonious, we experience physical and emotional wellbeing. When the flow is blocked, erratic or depleted, we experience physical or emotional dis-ease.
Qigong, acupuncture, acupressure, and the Meridian Tuning Forks are tools which help us to maintain a healthy flow of qi through the meridian system. This training also includes a set of 14 tuning forks, pdf manuals and workbooks and our complementary therapist handbook and workbook to complete at home.

You will also study the 5 elemental theory which is a Chinese philosophy used to describe interactions and relationships between things. The five elements — wood, fire, earth, metal, and water — are believed to be the fundamental elements of everything in the universe between which interactions occur.

The eight extraordinary meridians (EEV) are pathways of energy (qi) that run deep within our bodies and are also known as the eight psychic channels. They supply the 12 regular meridians with qi and blood, supporting our DNA or genetic heritage. They have no direct connections to the organ systems and, with the exception of the pairing of Du Mai and Ren Mai, they share points with the 12 regular meridians.
